About

My work probes the outer limits of aesthetic, technological, social and linguistic systems, through immersive spatial installation, media art and sound. I explore generativity, randomness, worldbuilding and simulation to locate where these systems contradict, glitch, fail, and stop behaving as expected.

My practice is as much political as it is esoteric, owing to surrealism and gnosis, as well as critical deconstruction. Through critical analysis, playful subversion and exploration, the aim of the work is to visualize the cracks where we can peer into another reality, another organization of life.

Recently, my focus has been on exploring 3D graphics and virtual worlds. I’m interested in the economy of computer graphics, the quantification of details (pixels/polygons) as an economic growth imperative, and how artists can subvert this process. I also investigate liminal online spaces, uncanny and mystical aspects of virtual worlds, and how the digital experience is interpreted as folklore and ghost stories.
